DESCRIPTION:Subvención de más de 300.000 euros para ampliar la Escuela infantil Los Menceyes\nEl Ayuntamiento de Candelaria ha comenzado los trámites para licitar la ampliación de la Escuela Infantil Los Menceyes\, después de recibir una subvención de 331.389\,79 euros de la Consejería de Educación\, Universidades\, Cultura y Deportes\, en el marco del Plan de Recuperación\, Transformación y Resiliencia\, financiado por la Unión Europea – Next Generation EU. \n“Seguimos dando pasos en la buena dirección para mejorar los servicios que se ofrecen a la ciudadanía en esta ocasión con la ampliación de la Escuela Infantil Los Menceyes\, que supondrá 31 plazas más con la creación de dos aulas destinadas al rango de edad comprendido entre los 2 y los 3 años”\, señala la alcaldesa en funciones\, Mari Brito quien apunta que con esta inversión se dará cobertura a la demanda de plazas en el centro infantil municipal. \nEl proyecto que tiene un coste total de 354.587\,08 euros y además\, de las dos aulas\, se realizará baño integrado con 3 inodoros\, lavabos y aseo\, así como un área de descanso que sirva a ambas aulas y almacén. A este respecto\, el aula que existe actualmente de 2 a 3 años se adaptará para menores de 1 a 2 años. De este modo\, el centro quedaría configurado con 1 aula de 0 a 1 años\, 2 aulas de 1 a 2 años y 2 aulas de 2 a 3 años”. \nOlivia Pérez\, concejala en funciones de Servicios Sociales\, destaca el Centro ganará además en espacios comunes ya que en el módulo de ampliación se ubicará en la zona ajardinada trasera con el fin de generar una nueva ala en torno al patio central existente. \nEl proyecto cuya redacción ha sido financiada por el Ayuntamiento\, por un importe de 12.280\,50 €\, ha sido consensuado con la dirección del centro educativo que son quienes conocen la realidad y las necesidades de la Escuela Infantil.
