Useful guide

Why visit Candelaria?
For three main reasons:
Traditions. The Virgin of Candelaria, the Patron Saint of the Canary Archipelago, is a point of reference for the regional population. Traditions and people’s identity are a result of this devotion.
The climate is pleasant all year round.
The gastronomic offer. An interesting variety, from traditional fresh fish to innovative regional national, and international cuisine.
What do I need to pack?
Candelaria offers pleasant temperatures all year round. The average temperature is 22ºC, thus we recommend beachwear and comfortable clothing without forgetting sunscreen.
For the wintertime, a jumper or jacket is always needed. Remember that Candelaria has a network of footpaths through its midlands. Therefore, we remind you to take appropriate footwear (hiking boots), a cap and a rucksack.
