In Candelaria there are many places to enjoy traditional, national, and international cuisine. In Candelaria, traditional cuisine is similar to that of the rest of the island; simple and nutritious, it is prepared with fresh produce. The Wines
Candelaria has a wine-growing tradition. Grapes grow in the midlands, favoured by the volcanic soil that fresh trade winds moisture. White wine is mainly produced and the dominant variety is called listán blanco. However, good rosé and red wines are also found with varieties such as listán negro and negramoll mulata.
